Udria in one sentence
Udria creates production-ready software capability packages that coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex can use to implement recurring software functionality inside an existing codebase.
What Udria is
Udria is building a marketplace of production-ready software capabilities for coding agents.
Instead of asking an AI coding agent to rediscover the architecture, edge cases, implementation sequence and test requirements for common software functionality from scratch, Udria packages accumulated implementation knowledge into an agent-readable capability.
The coding agent still writes and adapts the resulting code inside the customer's own repository.
Udria does not primarily sell generic prompts. The deliverable is a versioned, structured package, not a single natural-language instruction.

The package is placed at .udria/production-stripe-billing/ in the customer's repository. Your agent writes the code, into your repository, in your conventions. We never ship application code you have to adopt.

Production Stripe Billing is Udria's first capability.
It is designed to help Claude Code or Codex implement production-grade Stripe subscription billing inside an existing SaaS application.

How installation works
The coding agent executes the implementation. Udria supplies the implementation knowledge, architecture, edge cases and verification framework.
Udria does not deploy anything into a customer's production environment. Every change is made by the customer's own agent, in the customer's repository, and reviewed by the customer before it ships.
Why this may be useful
A capable coding model can already generate Stripe code.
The value proposition is not that Claude Code or Codex is incapable of building Stripe billing. It is that a meaningful part of the work is not code generation at all.

Udria's thesis is that code generation is becoming inexpensive, while correctly specifying and verifying recurring production functionality remains valuable.
Udria does not remove implementation risk. It is intended to reduce the amount of specification and verification work repeated from scratch on every project.

How the reservation works
If Production Stripe Billing is not ready by 31 October 2026, reservations expire automatically and no card is charged.
The card is stored by Stripe, not by Udria. Cancelling a reservation detaches the saved payment method.
Ownership and ongoing costs
- Stripe remains the customer's payment provider, and the money goes to the customer's own Stripe account.
- The customer's resulting application code belongs to the customer, subject to the Udria product licence.
- The customer pays their own Stripe transaction fees.
- The customer pays their own Claude, Codex or other model and API usage costs.
- Udria does not take a percentage of the customer's Stripe transaction revenue under the current founding offer.
- The founding offer is a one-off purchase, not a recurring Udria subscription.

Current status
Production Stripe Billing is currently offered as a founding reservation. It has not been delivered yet.

Udria was founded by Roman Grigoriev, an Estonian-born entrepreneur based in the UK. Roman has spent many years building and operating technology businesses and is the founder and CEO of Splento, a UK software company founded in 2015. His background combines commercial product development, operations and enterprise-facing software and services. Before technology entrepreneurship, he trained and worked as a chartered surveyor.

Is this just a prompt?
No. The intended deliverable is a structured, versioned, agent-readable capability containing specification, architecture, implementation guidance, edge cases and runnable acceptance tests. It is not a single natural-language prompt.
Can Claude Code or Codex build Stripe billing without Udria?
Yes. A capable coding agent can build Stripe integrations without Udria. The proposed value is reducing repeated specification, architecture, edge-case discovery, testing and debugging work — not supplying an ability the agent lacks.
What exactly does the coding agent do?

Does Udria guarantee the resulting implementation?

Does Udria handle my customers' money?
No. Stripe remains the payment processor and funds go to the customer's own Stripe account.
Is Udria a recurring subscription?
No. The current founding capability is offered as a one-off purchase.
Why not use a SaaS boilerplate?
A conventional boilerplate generally expects the application to start from, or adopt, its repository and architecture. Udria's intended model is for a coding agent to adapt a capability to a repository that already exists.
Does Udria work with every stack?
No. The first release has a deliberately narrow supported stack: Next.js (App or Pages Router), TypeScript, PostgreSQL or Supabase, Claude Code or Codex, An application that already exists. Stacks outside that list are not supported in V1.
Is my card charged when I reserve?
No. $0 is charged at reservation. The card is saved by Stripe and charged once, $199, only when the product is ready for delivery — with 3–5 days' notice, and only if the customer has not cancelled.
