Terms of Sale and Licence

Udria is operated by 815MC Ltd.

Business and consumer purchases are governed by separate contracts, because the two differ in ways that cannot be reconciled in one document — how tax is shown, whether there is a cancellation right, what happens if the package is faulty, and which courts you can use.

Which one applies to you turns on the purpose of the purchase, not on who you are. Buying a tool for work is a business purchase even when you pay for it yourself; buying one for a personal project is a consumer purchase even if you write software professionally.

In force

A purchase made wholly or mainly for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession.

Includes a sole trader, and includes a purchase paid for with a personal card. A VAT number is not required.

Consumer Terms of Sale and Licence

In force

A purchase by an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession, in the United Kingdom.

Includes the 14-day cancellation right and the statutory rights that apply to paid digital content.

Superseded versions

A later version does not change a purchase already made. If your order confirmation names a version that is no longer current, that version is your contract and it is kept here.
